„Beton on fire“ first started in 2009 with an Inline-Downhill competition in the “Bobtrack” of Altenberg. The athletes where fighting for the fastest time, down the 1.413m long track.

In 2010 Longboard-Downhill became part of the program as second discipline. This was also a world premiere, because Longboarders never had a competition in an original “Bobtrack” before.

“Beton on fire” is now back in 2011 and all the international skaters try to make the track burn again!!! They come to Altenberg in Saxony from countries like Canada, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Czech, Rumania, Slovenia and Switzerland to find a unique feeling in this crazy “Bobtrack”.
